BioSikelia’s production plans are established by our Technical Office in collaboration with the Sales Department, based on sales statistics from previous years and annual programs agreed upon with clients.
The Technical Office then defines, based on crop rotations, the production in the various plots of our members and loyal producers, directly supervising their production. All member crops are monitored first-hand by our field agronomists, who plan cultivation activities and verify that quality targets are met.
Our Technical Office is also responsible for proposing the expansion of production through new plantings to associated producers with available organic land. Based on ongoing projects involving citrus fruits and tropical species, our agronomists recommend the varieties best suited to local soil and climate conditions and commercial goals, offering our producers new opportunities for growth and improvement.
All of BioSikelia’s work, from the fields to the offices, is made possible by a structured corporate organization necessary to satisfy customer needs and support our producers. Sicily is a beautiful yet challenging land, and to navigate its infinite complexities, we rely on our excellent team.
