Madrid is a city that reflects its energy and openness to the world in the Fruit Attraction trade fair. Being there again this year was full of life.
Bringing BioSikelia around Europe is something we already do every time a pallet leaves our warehouse, but doing it in person, finding ourselves in a crowded pavilion where so many languages are spoken and where you see your work interpreted by so many different voices, is always a new emotion.
We brought our seasonal products to Fruit Attraction, including Organic Siracusa Lemon, with a special project dedicated to discovering the lemon as a unique, versatile, and unexpected ingredient.
As always, we met friends, collaborators, clients, and suppliers in person, and there is nothing better than looking each other in the eye, shaking hands, and chatting (perhaps over a small plate of almond sweets and candied lemon peels), catching up on the latest news and sharing ideas for future projects.
Every time we go to Madrid, every time we go to a trade fair, we go bringing our whole selves; and every time we come back with much, much more.
Thank you to the fantastic Cristiana Meli and Francesca Faraci who, together with our CEO Chiara, formed a team of 100% organic Sicilian women at the fair; thank you to Italia Ortofrutta for hosting us in their pavilion; and as always, thank you to the entire BioSikelia team, which is the reason why we attend trade fairs with joy, pride, and enthusiasm.
