In mid-May, our CEO Chiara Lo Bianco participated on behalf of BioSikelia in the Riverford Organic Farmers Suppliers’ Conference, the biennial event that brings together suppliers of one of the most interesting, solid, and innovative organic entities in the UK. These were days of meetings, conferences, presentations, workshops, and farm visits during which we had the opportunity to get to know Riverford even better, meet colleagues from other companies with whom we have now become friends, and reflect together on organic farming and its future.

“Aristotle advised us to build relationships on pathos (empathy) and ethos (shared beliefs and values) before we can effectively get down to logos (the numbers).”

The post by Guy Singh-Watson, founder of Riverford, on the biennial suppliers’ conference recalls these words of the Greek philosopher, and it could not better reflect the importance for us of working with organizations with whom we share ideas, values, and worldviews—organizations that can inspire us and help us grow in every aspect. We have been working with Riverford for several years, and it fills us with pride to know that our products contribute to the project of an entity whose goal is care: care for the land, the environment, people, and the community.

To us organic is a way of life
